The Federal Way Community Caregiving Network’s 18th Annual "Souper" Supper Fundraiser, held on November 9th, 2017 at the Christian Faith Center, was a huge success. We are grateful to the Christian Faith Center for allowing us to use their church for our event this year.
Funds raised by FWCCN will help families living in the Federal Way school district and NE Tacoma with rent assistance to stay in their homes. Other services include limited shelter, transportation, community meals, clothing, hygiene and laundry service.

Dan Larson, pastor of Family Life Community Church, served as the event's Master of Ceremonies. The evening's program included guest speaker Rick Reynolds, the executive director of Operation Nightwatch, who spoke on the importance of selfless service to the community. Rick's remarks underscored the Caregiving Network’s number one goal of being present to those most in need in our community.
Three lucky raffle ticket holders took home some great prizes. Come again next year to get in on the goodies!! 1st prize: 7 day stay in a Kauai condo plus $900.00 cash for airfare 2nd prize: dinner and a night stay at Cedarbrook Lodge in Seattle 3rd prize: dinner for two at Canlis in Seattle A Federal Way community garden-grown salad was added to this year's menu to compliment the soup offerings. The addition of the salad recognized the inclusion of the Federal Way Community Garden organization as a part of the Federal Way Community Caregiving Network – a strong partnership for community growth.
